We invite academics, researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders in the agriculture and development sectors to submit original research papers, case studies, and innovative practices for presentation at the 2025 Annual Conference. The conference theme revolves around harnessing digital technologies and smart innovations for sustainable agricultural transformation in Nigeria and beyond. Submissions are welcome under the following sub-themes:

Repositioning Agricultural Extension and Training through ICT, E-Learning, and Digital Skills Development

This sub-theme explores how digital tools can modernize agricultural extension and training systems. Topics include ICT for extension, e-learning platforms, digital capacity building, knowledge access, inclusive digital training, policy reforms, and monitoring of digital extension models.

Advancing Smart Mechanization, Irrigation, and Renewable Energy Technologies for Modern Farming Systems

This sub-theme focuses on modernizing farm operations through mechanization, efficient irrigation, and clean energy. Topics include smart farm machinery, automated irrigation, renewable energy, digital integration, inclusive access, and enabling policies.

Leveraging Digital Innovations for Sustainable Forest Resource Management and Agroforestry-Based Livelihoods

This sub-theme addresses the use of digital tools in forest conservation and agroforestry. Topics include GIS, mobile monitoring, data-driven agroforestry planning, traceability, participatory governance, and climate-smart forestry practices.

Deploying Climate-Smart and Digital Technologies for Enhanced Crop Productivity and Value Addition

This sub-theme looks at integrating climate-smart and digital innovations to increase crop yield and post-harvest value. Topics include CSA, precision agriculture, digital extension, forecasting tools, post-harvest technologies, and digital market access.

Promoting Smart Aquaculture and Digital Market Access for Sustainable Fisheries Livelihoods

This sub-theme highlights digital innovations for aquaculture productivity and fisheries livelihoods. Topics include IoT for aquaculture, e-extension, digital markets, blockchain, youth engagement, and post-harvest innovations.

Integrating ICT, Blockchain, and Biotech Solutions in Livestock Production and Value Chains

This sub-theme emphasizes tech-enabled transformation in livestock. Topics include ICT for herd management, blockchain for traceability, biotech for animal health, digital input platforms, and youth-led livestock innovation.

Enhancing Agro-Processing, Storage, and Packaging through Digital Platforms and Traceability Technologies

This sub-theme explores smart post-harvest systems. Topics include automated processing, smart storage, blockchain-based traceability, smart packaging, e-commerce platforms, and energy-efficient technologies.
