Amara Uzor-Totty
Dr. Amara Ethel Uzor-Totty is a Principal Research Officer at the National Root Crops Research. Institute (NRCRI), Umudike, with expertise in geography, meteorology, and environmental management. She holds a PhD in Geomorphology and has extensive experience in geospatial modeling, climate adaptation, and hydrological research, with several peer-reviewed publications on sediment dynamics, nutrient cycles, and carbon sequestration in Nigerian river basins. A member of the Association of Nigerian Geographers and the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD), she has completed advanced training in climate risk analysis, groundwater management, and remote sensing. Through her research and leadership roles at NRCRI’s Digital Agriculture and Climate Change Adaptation units, she contributes to building resilient agricultural systems and advancing sustainable development in Nigeria. 08033394642
