Ruth Ehi Ameh

My name is Ruth Ehi Ameh, a graduate of Crop and Soil Science from Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, Makurdi. My academic and professional journey has focused on sustainable crop production, soil fertility management, and resilience research. I have conducted research on intercropping systems, particularly sesame–maize interactions, and gained practical experience through internships and roles such as Assistant Farm Supervisor at Kwanzi Agro Farm. I am passionate about bridging research with practical solutions for smallholder farmers, especially in areas facing climate and soil challenges. I have also participated in community extension programs, distributing improved seeds and training farmers in Benue State. By joining the Agricultural Society of Nigeria, I hope to connect with like-minded professionals, contribute to knowledge exchange, and grow in my commitment to advancing Nigeria’s agricultural sector.
