Ogechi Mercy Okorocha

Dr. Ogechi Mercy Okorocha is a soil scientist and Lecturer at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Imo State, Nigeria. She holds a B.Sc. in Soil Science and Environmental Management from Imo State University, an M.Sc. in Soil Physics and Conservation, and a Ph.D. in Pedology from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO). Her research interests span soil classification, conservation, and land evaluation for sustainable agriculture. She has published on land suitability for cassava and oil palm in Nigeria’s agro-ecological zones and is passionate about applying soil science for food security and environmental sustainability.
